Thrifting Tuesday: Vintage Market
Last weekend me and my sister went to visit a small market. In my neighborhood, only a five minute walk! The great thing about it was that it was a vintage market! I was a bit afraid everything would be super expensive (since it is already marked as ‘great vintage items’ instead of the usual clutter you normally have to dig through yourself) but it was not. We had a super day! My sister found two dresses as well. I took the risk by not-trying-them-on but my sweet sis hopped into a (heated!) van and tried […]
Thrifting Tuesday wish list: Catherine Holm
Everyone who likes to thrift has one: an obsession. For me, there are many obsessions (yep… obsessive thrifter raises her hand). But one of them is Catherineholm enamelware. I do not own a single Catherineholm item, but I am still waiting for the perfect find. I saw many online but then it’s all so expensive. So that’s a definite no-go for me. Cathrineholm, enamel cookware, is designed by Norwegian Grete Prytz Kittelsen. The above picture is taken by Molly inside her thriftstore. Wowza! I cannot think of what I would have done if I entered a thrift […]
The Traveling Vintage Item
I loveeee to find packages in my mailbox. And this weekend there was one, yes! Nicely wrapped in with my favorite twine. But wait, there was a small envelop on top! This made me smile. Saskia, one of my Twitter friends, is always telling the most hilarious stories about confetti on Twitter. This may sound a bit weird but you have to imagine a random tweet about a meal/day/feeling/whatever and then Sas will tweet :*throws confetti in the air” So when I opened the small envelop, you may guess it: there was CONFETTI :) In there […]
Tuesday Thrift: Tea for Two
Due to a overdose of china in my cabinet, I recently told myself not to buy any more. But when my mom pointed out these retro beauties, I couldn’t say no.
